Gavrie Elliott is from Mount Kisco, New York, and graduated from New York University in 2024 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama. Gavrie enjoys writing, acting, and art.

Simon Egan

Senior Manager/ Digital Marketing and Membership

Simon is from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and graduated from Temple University in 2025 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Simon enjoys living and working in a major metropolitan area.

Jack hails from Pittsburgh and relocated to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He has a strong interest in the political economy, locally, and globally.

Ellen Snyder,She/Her
Senior Finance Director

Ellen brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to CultureWorks, having served in accounting and management capacities for many years. She values the role of culture in everyday life and well understands the world of the cultural non-profit. She spent 17 years as Accounting Specialist for Darlington Arts Center, in Garnet Valley, PA. Before Darlington, Ellen spent 5 years at TSO Management in Media, PA, overseeing the accounting needs of a multi-office, multi-state organization. Ellen earned her BS in Business Administration with a minor in Accounting from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Liam Brown

Born in Vermont and grew up primarily in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Graduated from Buxton School Williamstown, Massachusetts. Then returned to Philadelphia to attend Tyler School of Art, at Temple University. Participated in a year-long study abroad in Rome, Italy 2016-2017. Graduated 2018 with BFA in Painting. Currently working primarily with Oil Paint.

Dr. Ken Smith, Consultant

Kenneth D. Smith, PhD is a health economist and public health practitioner. He received his doctorate from The Johns Hopkins University, Bloomberg School of Public Health, where he studied economic demography and health economics. His postgraduate research focused on risk adjustment, healthcare financing, pharmacoeconomic evaluation, provider practice behavior, health professional supply and demand, and the evaluation of large national healthcare demonstration projects for persons with chronic disease.
