Founded in 2007 by Gregory T. Walker, The Brothers' Network is a Black-led, Black-run social enterprise non-profit, arts presenting, theater producing and Black culture promoting organization. We address racial inequity through the lens of high art, culture, literature, history and heritage.

Our Mission: We meld artistic, archival, curatorial, and editorial practices to signify, solidify, and sustain the humanity of men, who are Black, locally and globally. The Brothers’ Network is a continuation of the 1920s Harlem Renaissance and an extension of the 1960s Black Arts Movement.

Dear Fashion, Fabric and Art Lovers,

The introduction to the iconic Louis Vuitton menswear show features none other than the artist Henry Taylor, in conversation and dialogue with a younger Black man on the banks of the river Seine in Paris.

Louis Vuitton’s creative director, Pharrell Williams, has recently collaborated with Taylor to launch Louis Vuitton's Men’s Spring-Summer 2024 collection where we see the influence of Taylor’s textile experimentation. In Nothing Change, Nothing Strange, Taylor considers the signifying potential of color and pattern, the complexity and parameters of space, and the historical persistence of oppression—illustrated by the exhibition’s very title.

The Brothers’ Network is committed to showing broad and diverse narratives of Black men in by doing so, we expand the multiplicity of identity of Black men. The Brothers’ Network is excited to host YOU for a docent guided tour through the exhibition of the brilliant fabric work of Henry Taylor. The Fabric Workshop and Museum (FWM) in Philadelphia features artist in residence Henry Taylor. Nothing Change, Nothing Strange is the direct result of an 18-month residency, this ambitious exhibition features an immersive sculptural environment created through Henry Taylor’s continued exploration of painting and sculpture alongside his first experimentation with textiles.

Nothing Change, Nothing Strange exemplifies many of the themes that run through Taylor’s practice and investigates the boundaries that have historically divided painting and sculpture.
